គតិ របស់លោក មហាត្មះ គន្ធី​

១. ចំពោះមនុស្សដែលក្រពះរបស់គេគ្មានអ្វីសោះ អាហារគឺជាព្រះ ។

To a man with  an empty stomach food is god .

២. ខ្ញុំមិនមែនកសាងខ្លួនសំរាប់សរសេរទ្រឹស្តី តែសកម្មភាព ជាគោលដៅ របស់ខ្ញុំ ។

I am not built for academic writings . Action is my domain .

៣. ខ្ញុំចាត់ទុកខ្លួនជាជនជាតិ ហិណ្ឌូ គ្រិស្តសាសនិកជន អ៊ីស្លាម ជ្វីហ្វ
ពុទ្ធសាសនិក និង ខុងជឺ ។

I consider myself a Hindu , Christian , Muslim , Jew , Buddhist , and Confucian .

៤. អហិង្សាជាខដំបូងនៃជំនឿរបស់ខ្ញុំ ។  វាក៏ជាខចុងក្រោយនៃគោលការណ៍របស់ខ្ញុំ។

Non- violence is the first article of my faith . It is also the last article
of my creed .

៥. ភាពមានតែមួយជាច្បាប់ធម្មជាតិ ។ ចូរសំលឹងមើលលក្ខណះផ្តាច់មុខ នៃការរះរបស់ព្រះអាទិត្យ ។ ភាពមានតែមួយក្នុងជីវភាពរស់នៅ ចាំបាច់គឺការចេះធ្វើឱ្យជីវិតពោរពេញដោយភាពរីករាយនិងក្លៀវក្លាឡើង ។

Monotony  is the law of nature .
Look at the monotonous manner in which the sun rises .
The monotony of necessary occupations is exhilaratingandlife-giving .

៦. ការបណ្តែតបណ្តោយតាមចំណូលចិត្តរបស់ខ្លួន
តែងមានព្រំដែន តែគ្មានទេសំរាប់ការអត់ធ្មត់ទប់ចិត្តខ្លួនឯង ។

There are limits to self-indulgence , none to self-restraint .

៧. បុគ្គលម្នាក់ក៏អាចប្រឆាំង អំណាចរបស់អាណាចក្រមិនត្រឹមត្រូវមួយ ដើម្បីសង្រ្គោះកិត្តិយសរបស់ខ្លួន សាសនារបស់ខ្លួន ព្រលឹងរបស់ខ្លួន ហើយចាក់គ្រឹះសំរាប់ការដួលរលំ ឬការកែប្រែជាថ្មីឡើងវិញនៃអាណាចក្រនោះ ។

It is possible for a single individual to defy the whole might of an unjust
empire to save his honor , his religion ,his soul and lay the foundation
for that empire’s fall or its regeneration .

៨.តើមានការខុសគ្នាអ្វីទៅវាងការស្លាប់កំព្រានិងគ្មានផ្ទះសម្បែងតើការបំផ្លាញដ៏ឆ្កួតលីលាត្រូវបានចារក្រោមផ្លាកផ្តាច់ការ

និយមឬក៏ផ្លាកដ៏ពិសិដ្ឋនៃសេរីភាពឬក៏ប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ ?

What difference does it make to the dead , the orphans and the homeless , whether the mad destruction is wrought under name of totalitarianism or
the holy name of liberty or democracy?
